Hi and welcome Robin, no haven't tried this particular rice,but with the Asian community being so large I am sure I could find it!
Sounds like Mairs bakehouse was a blast, I sure missed the gang, got to make a raincheck, oh it did rain right, jejeje!

Just spent the weekend in Wales with the BethesdaBakin crew - air thick with fermentation and bread talk...

Have you come across Sweet Fermented Rice (Jiu Niang) - can't find it here in West of England but apparently a staple in oriental food shops.
