Ulrike, vielen Dank! I was thinking of what I could use instead of Dr. Oetker Vanillepuddingpulver. Not that I mind using it but I like to have a back up if I cannot find it. Although in Germany it is pretty much everywhere.

Emily, try either way....still not sure myself, and my sister hasn't gotten back to me yet!

Ulrike, sounds like a lot of starch....still it's an amazing dessert, and I love the spelt in the dough!

Jeremy, not sure how the crust works. Do you line the tin with the dough after chilling, or before? or does it need to be blind baked? Or can I use some crushed digestives or something like that instead?

Dr. Oetker Vanillepuddingpulver ;-), I like this pudding, but you can substitute it with about 35 g cornstarch. It's funny in Germany if you say cheesecake you mean quark cake...
