My love of baking doesn't rest on nights and weekends. In fact, a week working in a professional kitchen hasn't stopped my enjoyment of exploring bread and loaves. And so somehow I woke up one morning recently and realized that somehow I have started a part-time bakery. In my apartment!!!! It's a micro-bakery but small business's have to start somewhere, no? Wish me luck. Or order a loaf of bread.
Sourdough Croissants
I love croissants. I love everything about them. Their layers of texture, from their crispy outside to their buttery...
You have been a busy underground baker 🙂
cheers,
Phil
Hey, mon ami.
What a coincidence! You are starting a microbakery just when I am waiting for the printer to send me the first edition of my new book, Microbakin’, which will help you on the road to Success!

Hey Phil! Cheers, was wondering where you’d disappeared to, as you were on break from The Fresh Loaf….Just my way of saying to the world, if you can bake at home…why not make a bitty business too.People like good bread, and they are willing to help out us budding bakers as well!
All the best mate!
Jeremy
Jeremy, are you really doing this in your apartment (selling bread)? Very ambitious.
Hey Sam, Actually, am selling, with no profit save to buy more flour and testing formulas. If anything it’s a tool to retouch bases from all the experience I’ve gathered, in school taught baking, in working in some short stages and just immersing myself in books and half crazed amalgamations of formulas tossed either into a bin or marked down for maybe a book, if I can get my head strapped on to it?!
Cheers,
Jeremy
