Bread Is My Religion, Baking It My Prayer

by | Apr 1, 2013 | Uncategorized

Between two overlapping holidays in the Judeo-Christian calenders, Passover and Easter, I've been baking, and yes I didn't do the right thing. I made hot cross buns a full two weeks before Easter. Then I made challah when matzah, un-leavened bread, was what the lord called for! God forgive me for going off track. But I did follow my passion and spirit, I baked!

Super! Great baking Jeremy! I baked Challah and Hot Cross buns for Easter too (your Challah plait looks great!). I had a lot of fun. So… what’s next? 🙂

    Hey Teresa!
I hadn’t done a six plait for a long time and used Maggie Glezer’s video as a reminder! Next…hmmm…hard to say..as I’m battling a sore shoulder and allergies..but I’ll come up with something…actually have a formula from a friend for a Cypriot bread with olives, fennel, onions and herbs…

Hi Jeremy, Croc here from sourdough.com forums if you remember 🙂
Great to see you still got the stirthepots going and these bakes above look fantastic and making me hungry, another 2 hours for my loaf to be read for eating :O
Hope you well and enjoying life.

Hey Croc! Yes of course I remember, seems Graham doesn’t have Maedi keeping up the sight and so many new people on the forum, time does pass! Yes, still doing my blog, and trying to get different projects that involve bread off the ground as usual!
    Cheers Mate!
